There were big changes to the industry after live cattle exports to Indonesia were suspended in 2011. This is the story of one feedlot operator who remained operational despite no cattle shipments leaving Port Hedland for four years, showing determination and an understanding of the importance of attracting live cattle shipments back to WA’s Pilbara region.

This video was an entry in the Transparency Challenge run by LiveCorp in the lead up to the LIVEXchange 2019 conference. The competition encouraged participants in the livestock export supply chain to produce short videos to showcase continuous improvement in areas such as animal welfare.
