Mr Setter joined Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC) in 2014 and has led the organisation through significant change from being a cattle producer to a vertically integrated diverse agribusiness.

He has worked across the agribusiness industry, spanning production, processing, marketing, development and logistics across the beef, sheep and grains sectors. Prior to joining CPC, Mr Setter held key management positions at the Australian Agricultural Company, Torrens Investments, North Australian Cattle Company, Killara Feedlot and Twynam Group.

Outside CPC, Troy currently chairs the Board of Dolly's Dream. He is a former member of the Indonesia Australia Red Meat and Cattle Partnership, former Chair of the Council of Rural Research and Development Corporations, former Chair of the Australian Beef Industry Foundation, and served as a director of the Australian Livestock Exporters' Council for ten years.
