This study was undertaken in response to incidences of ringworm in dairy cattle exported to China that resulted in economic losses for exporters and had the potential to disrupt the export of dairy cattle to China.

The study identified the many fungi involved in ringworm infections and outlines the recommended treatments of choice and best practice disease control measures.
